iWARP/RDMA
iWARP delivers converged, low-latency fabric services to data centers through Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) over Ethernet. The key iWARP components that deliver low-latency are Kernel Bypass, Direct Data Placement, and Transport Acceleration.

Intel® Data Direct I/O Technology
Intel® Data Direct I/O Technology is a platform technology that improves I/O data processing efficiency for data delivery and data consumption from I/O devices. With Intel DDIO, Intel® Server Adapters and controllers talk directly to the processor cache without a detour via system memory, reducing latency, increasing system I/O bandwidth, and reducing power consumption.

PCI-SIG* SR-IOV Capable
Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) involves natively (directly) sharing a single I/O resource between multiple virtual machines. SR-IOV provides a mechanism by which a Single Root Function (for example a single Ethernet Port) can appear to be multiple separate physical devices.

Intel® Ethernet Power Management
Intel® Ethernet Power Management Technology provides solutions to common power management approaches by reducing idle power, reducing capacity and power as a function of demand, operating at maximum energy efficiency whenever possible, and enabling functionality only when needed.

Flexible Port Partitioning
Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) technology utilizes industry standard PCI SIG SR-IOV to efficiently divide your physical Ethernet device into multiple virtual devices, providing Quality of Service by ensuring each process is assigned to a Virtual Function and is provided a fair share of the bandwidth.

Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq)
Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) is a technology designed to offload some of the switching done in the VMM (Virtual Machine Monitor) to networking hardware specifically designed for this function. VMDq drastically reduces overhead associated with I/O switching in the VMM which greatly improves throughput and overall system performance
D-Link Wireless AC1200 DualBand PCIe Adapter. Internal. Connectivity technology: Wired, Host interface: PCI Express, Interface: WLAN. Maximum data transfer rate: 867 Mbit/s, Top Wi-Fi standard: Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n)
Conserve valuable PCI Express (PCIe) server slots while adding multi-port Gigabit Ethernet capability with the Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter. The dedicated input/output (I/O) bandwidth of PCIe ensures priority performance on each port, without bus sharing, for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in Category-5 networks. Additionally, the Intel PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter is designed to provide high performance in multi-processor systems by efficiently balancing network loads across multiple Central Processing Units (CPUs) when used with Receive-Side Scaling from Microsoft or Scalable I/O on Linux.
The Intel PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter features 10/100/ 1000 Mbps self-configuration for compatibility with mixed-speed network devices, and is supported by Intel® PRO Intelligent Install and the new Intel® PROSet Utility for Microsoft Device Manager. Intel PROSet simplifies adapter installation and gives you point-and-click power to configure and manage all your Intel PRO Network Connections for connectivity you can count on.

Two high-performance PCI Express 10/100/1000 Mbps connections for slot-constrained servers, Multi-Gigabit scalability and increased uptime through advanced server features.
Built on Intel® lead-free1 technology.
Add 3 external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with UASP and a Gigabit Ethernet port to your Ultrabook™ or laptop through a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 port

The ST3300GU3B Portable USB 3.2 Gen 1 Hub is TAA compliant features an integrated GbE port, enabling you to expand your laptop connectivity by adding three external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, as well as a Gigabit network port via a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection. This hub is an ideal laptop accessory for your Microsoft Surface™ Pro 4, Surface Pro 3, Surface Book, Dell™ XPS 13, and many other devices.

The hub merges Gigabit network support and USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub access into lightweight yet sturdy aluminum casing, providing vital connectivity ports that are often limited or nonexistent on modern mobile computers, while remaining compact and travel-friendly. Plus, with an attached USB 3.2 Gen 1 host connection cable there’s no need to carry a separate cable with you, so you can tuck the hub neatly into your laptop bag for maximum portability.

For faster and more consistent network connections, the integrated Ethernet port leverages the 5Gbps capabilities of the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface to provide wired Gigabit access that is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3/u/ab standards. Plus, the GbE port supports Wake-on-LAN (WOL), so you can remotely wake your computer over your network.

An ideal laptop accessory, this mobile USB hub is great for connecting low-power peripherals like a mouse, keyboard or USB flash drive, and also includes a universal power adapter for connecting devices such as external hard drive enclosures" append_qs="filter_IOINTERFACE=USB+3.0.

Backed by a StarTech.com 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

The StarTech.com Advantage
This PCIe USB 3.0 card couples your peripheral and network connections into a single, scalable solution.

By combining three USB 3.0 ports and one RJ45 port onto a single card, you only need a single PCIe slot for installation, which lets you free up space for other add-ons or upgrades and get more out of your desktop or server.

Combo-card convenience and cost-savings
If you have separate cards for your USB and network connections, this versatile card overcomes the aggravation of running out of PCIe slots while helping to reduce clutter inside your PC.

This dual-purpose card is perfect for building or upgrading your computer. It helps you save money by avoiding the additional costs of purchasing separate USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet adapters.

Flexible install options and legacy device support
You can rest assured this card will fit in your small form-factor system, if needed. It features a dual-profile design that makes it easy to install in either standard or low-profile cases.

The combo card makes it easy to connect peripherals such as your external hard drives or mobile devices. Plus, it’s backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.x, so you won’t have to replace all of your existing USB devices.

Gigabit connectivity and network management
Functioning as a network adapter, the card delivers wired network access in locations where Wi-Fi® is unavailable or unreliable.

Support for advanced features such as jumbo frames and VLAN tagging means you can optimize network traffic as needed.

Effective USB 3.0 performance enhanced by UASP
This high-performance SuperSpeed USB 3.0 adapter card supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is enhanced with UASP support, which can perform ~70% faster read speed and 40% faster write speed over traditional USB 3.0, when paired with a UASP-enabled enclosure.

The PEXUSB3S3GE is backed by a StarTech.com 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
