The D-Link DGS-1024D 24-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch series offer an economical way for SOHO and Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMB) to take advantage of Gigabit Ethernet speeds while reducing energy consumption and minimising noise output.
Gigabit Connectivity
The DGS-1024D switches bring the speed of Gigabit Ethernet to all ports for a truly high-speed network. If your network has a mix of legacy and modern connection interfaces, each port allows for standard Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, or Gigabit Ethernet connections. You have the latest technology available to every computer and device connected to your network.
Improved Network Efficiency
The DGS-1024D switches incorporate several advanced features to help simplify and improve network management and efficiency. Flow Control throttles connections to ensure reliability during heavy usage periods by reducing packet loss and wasteful data re-transmission. In addition, Storm Control and Port Isolation mitigate the effects of broadcast storms caused by rogue software and malware, which can propagate across the network and bring communication to a standstill.
Innovative Design
The DGS-1024D feature a durable, compact metal case alongside a fanless design allowing for improved heat dissipation while maintaining silent operation. The 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch series is small, lightweight, wall-mountable, and is ideal for any business with demanding requirements and a small budget.
Green Technology
The 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch series helps you conserve energy automatically through several methods. Link status detection automatically powers down ports that have no link, allowing the switches to save substantial amounts of power by cutting power usage for unused ports or any ports connected to computers that have been shut down.
Meanwhile, Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) conserves energy by dynamically reducing power consumption when data activity is low. These environmentally friendly switches are also RoHS compliant, use recyclable packaging, and minimise the use of harmful substances. These green features combined, provide more energy savings and a longer product life, without sacrificing operational performance or functionality.

What This Product Does The TL-SG1016PE is an 16-Port Gigabit Desktop/Rack mountable Switch with 8 ports supporting the PoE+ standard. It provides a simple way to expand a wired network by transferring power and data over a single Ethernet Cable. With a total power budget of 150 W*, up to 30 W per port, TL-SG1016PE powers more high-powered devices such as wireless Access Points (APs), IP Cameras or IP Phones. Moreover, with innovative energy-efficient technology, the TL-SG1016PE saves the power consumption, making it an eco-friendly solution for your business network.
How This Product Works 8 ports of TL-SG1016PE support Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) standard which can automatically detect and supply power to any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant device(s). In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with data in a single cable, allowing you to expand your network where there are electrical cables or outlets, where you wish to fix devices such as APs, IP Cameras or IP Phones.
Overload Arrangement TL-SG1016PE has a priority function which helps protect the system when its power is overloaded. If all PoE+ devices’ power consumption is greater than or equal to 150 W, a priority will be arranged among the 8 PoE+ ports, at which point the system will cut off the power of the lowest-priority port.
Port Priority Function Priority (port 1>port 2>port 3>port 4> port 5>port 6>port 7>port 8): This function will help protect the system if the system power becomes overloaded. For example, Port 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 are using 30 W (maximum power per port is 30 W), the system power is 150 W in total (PoE max LED will be green if all PoE PDs power consumption is >= 150W). If there is an additional PD inserted to Port 5 with 20 W then the system will cut off Port 6 to protect the system, this means Port 1, 2 ,3, and 4 will use 120 W, and Port 5 will use 20 W, and no power will be supplied to Port 6.
Easy To Use TL-SG1016PE is easy to install and use. It requires no configuration or installation. With its Desktop/Rack mountable design, outstanding performance and quality, the TP-LINK TL-SG1016PE 16-Port Gigabit Desktop/Rack mountable Switch with 8-Port PoE+ is a great choice for expanding your home or office network.

Something of a powerhouse when it comes to Power-over-Ethernet switches, this compact beauty offers PoE to 802.3af/at standard across all eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, at up to 30 Watts per port with a power budget total of 140 Watts. Which, put simply, means you can power devices such as access points, IP phones and video surveillance cameras simply by plugging them in with an Ethernet cable – no additional power required. The DGS-1008MP features 8 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that support the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ protocol. Each of the 8 PoE+ ports can supply up to 30 watts with a total PoE power budget of 140 watts. PoE is especially suitable for devices that are far from power outlets or when you want to minimise the clutter of extra cables. No configuration is required and installation is quick and easy. Support for Auto MDI/MDI-X on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables when connecting to another switch. Auto- Negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. The switch has been designed without fans ensuring silent operation wherever it is installed. With wire-speed filtering and store-and-forward switching, the DGS-1008MP maximises network performance while minimising the transmission of bad network packets. DGS-1008MP switches feature both D-Link Green 3.0 Technology and IEEE802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) to cut operating costs without sacrificing operational performance or functionality. With D-Link Green technology, the switches constantly monitor the link status and network utilisation of every port. The switches also automatically detect cable length and can reduce transmission power usage for shorter cables. By pairing EEE capable devices with DGS-1008MP switches organizations can drastically reduce power consumption by automatically putting ports into a sleep mode when not being used.
